YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
October 9th - 12th, 2026
Join us on an exciting 3-night/ 4-day trip exploring Yosemite National Park!
Whether it's your first time exploring Yosemite National Park or you're returning to experience its beauty again, this weekend getaway is designed to help you disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with nature. We'll spend our days hiking scenic trails, photographing incredible viewpoints, spotting wildlife, and enjoying unforgettable memories surrounded by Yosemite's legendary landscapes.
About the Trip
Accommodations
We'll be staying together in a beautiful private VRBO cabin in Groveland, California, located about 1.2 hours - 2 hours from Yosemite National Park's most iconic hikes and attractions. Staying together allows us to enjoy the full adventure experience—from sharing meals and relaxing after long hikes to getting to know fellow travelers.
Accommodations closer to Yosemite Valley are limited, book up quickly, and are significantly more expensive, making this a great balance of comfort, value, and location.
The cabin features 6 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms, comfortably accommodating 18-20 participants.
Sleeping Arrangements
To help keep the trip affordable while enjoying a spacious cabin, all accommodations will be shared. Depending on the final group size and room assignments, participants should expect to share a bedroom and, in some cases, a queen bed with another participant of the same gender.
Room layout:
1 King Bed (shared)
1 Queen Bed (shared)
1 Queen Bed (shared)
1 Queen Bed + 1 Double Sofa Bed (shared)
2 Queen Beds + Bunk Beds (Women's Room)
2 Queen Beds + Bunk Beds (Men's Room)
Room assignments will be finalized once registration closes and will be based on the final number of participants. Our goal is to make everyone as comfortable as possible while creating a fun, community-focused adventure.

Monday - Departures
Transportation
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the cabin in Groveland, California. We'll meet at the cabin on Friday evening to kick off the adventure together. Throughout the weekend, we'll organize carpools to and from Yosemite National Park whenever possible to minimize the number of vehicles entering the park.
Carpool opportunities may be available with other participants traveling from major airports or nearby areas. Before the trip, we'll create a group chat so attendees can coordinate rides if they'd like. While we're happy to connect participants, all transportation and carpool arrangements are the responsibility of each individual attendee.

Your trip cost includes your lodging accommodations for the weekend, bottled water, breakfast foods, and a couple meals on Saturday and Sunday during your stay. It also covers the planning and coordination of the adventure so you can simply show up and enjoy the experience.

Depending on the final group size, we may rent a large passenger van to make traveling to and from Yosemite National Park easier.
